"It's a revvy beast, thanks to the short stroke engine, but it still pulls out of corners well from low revs. My bike has a flat spot around 9000rpm, so I'm going to try another one to see if 'they all do that, sir', or not.
"The best thing about the RR is its friendliness. I've set the pegs low so I can move around freely and the Ohlins suspension has excellent ride quality and control. It's still an angry F4, but with a lot of the rough edges smoothed off.
"Brembos make mincemeat of the numerous hairpins here and never fade.
"The traction control works but is intrusive on the track. The quickest way round is with it off.
