bene o male ? come ti hanno detto.. inizialmente cercava i pistoni della 1199R per la 1299S ma ovviamente ? impossibile.. sostanzialmente vuole alleggerire parti del motore per fare una specie di 1299 "R" o superleggera, tanto sono l?.. a mio parere, come gli ho detto, spreca solo soldi perch? la 1299s col termi completo va pi? che bene

Yes you can do it.. but i would buy a 1299s with termignoni full exhaust and i would be very satisfied with it.. well, i'm lying because i probably would buy the new R1M but this is another story! ahahah

You are not lying mate, you chose the best bike (1299s) that has ever been produced..you should test it before to tell us it will not be your choice!!!

yeah you're surely right! But my choice is guided by heart.. i mean: i'm not capable to ride the R1M or the 1299S. i drive a small and quiet ER6N and i'm planning to buy hopefully in two year, more or less, a ducati 848evo or 899, depending on how much money i will have. i love ducati's style, sound and i think that for the road use is better a two cylinders than a four. but if i think to the track (and a top class, like R1M or 1299, LIVES in the track only) i think that the four solution is better and has better absolute performance. in addition, overall, i like more the R1M so... i don't know if finally it will be my choice, because i'm not searching the best lap times since i'm not a professional rider so 1, 2, 3 or 4 cylinders is not important and riding a 1299 could be more exciting than an R1M, but actually i don't know if it is. so i say only what my heart is saying and he's saying R1M for the sound, for performance, for the overall look (even if the panigale is more beautiful i think that R1M is more particular) and for a strange passion of which is the best technical solution for a particular purpose; on paper, at least. i'm not the one that wants the horsepower's higher declared value in order to be the king of the bar. simply i like engineering, i'm studying engineering so i'm fascinated by this kind of things maybe it's stupid but this is it; and actually for this reason i prefer the r1m over the 1299s.. maybe when i will be capable to drive them i will change idea!

Yes Luca..today these bikes have crazy powers..I mean that an amateur can not be use all hp they have.I am fascinated too concerning performance and all elettronic devices..and I have just bought my dream's bike.I usually using my bike on the road and may sometimes in track days.I was joking,of course,you have to choose the bike listening your heart..unfortunately you need a lot of money to realize your dream,you can not take a bike just following rumors or for fashion.
The new Yamaha R1 is a very nice bike but ,to be honest, I wanted to buy an rsv4..and I missed it due to they did not want to exchange my old 1198s.The sound of v4 it is like the sirens song,in few words,amazing!
I hope your dream comes true asap but do not stop to study...this will allow you to reach your target soon..and it does not matter what kind of bike you are going to buy...just do it!!!

i think that the aprilia is a fenomenal bike. nimble, easy, precise.. but it's not so beautiful like 1299 or r1 are and the price is not enough low to compensate the lack of customer service. i've read of many people that had a lot of problem about it. in addition if you think that, lie you told before, the performances now are so high that is impossible for the medium amateur to push at the limit those bikes.. for me it's easy to move my choice away from aprilia.. now i would choose R1M and maybe 1299S\1199R depending on the feelings that the latter will transmit to me.. maybe the new zx10r or gsxr1000 could be better bikes than the 2015's ones! we will see!
For now i hope in a 899 or at least a 848EVO.. if it will not be possible i will probably buy a japanese 600cc and take it only for track days as a preparative experience in order to approach to a bigger bikes with a better package of nowledge in riding style, position, technique etc.

I only have my 1299S project delivered early on 25/09, so now I go to start to make fix and ready to ride.
This will take ??4-6 weeks ??

I Buy 1199S Front Wheel from Germany ebay.
I remove damage gold tube from damaged 1299S Ohlins Fork.

I Order and Pay for new Ohlins Gold Tube for Ohlins Fork, Dealer say in stock only on 06/10. Then I find out if Ohlins Can Fix or not Fix.

Today I Go Ducati Dealer and Pay for new 24 Degree Frame Bush. Also I pay for 1199S Rear Wheel from Ducati Shop Mechanic/Racer.
(30/09 -7/10)
I Remove from my 1299S Frame, 24.5 Degree Bush and Fit New 24 Degree Frame bush(x2).
I Also Try Fix Damage Wires.
I fit back to frame Yoke/triple.
Then Ohlins Fork if has been Fixed.
Bar and Switches and Ohlins Damper.
Wheels/Discs/Tyres(1199S)
Then I Fit Good Radiator I Buy and Then Fill with Coolant(Waterless)
Then Empty Engine Oil and fill New Engine Oil.
New ABS Cables.
Next I fit Sprint Filter and New Battery,

Then I START ENGINE and I PREY is OK??????

(I Try put picture, BUT say "File Not Valido" all the Time I try

How much did you spent for the new radiator? The radiator for my kawasaki er6n is 560 ? from an official kawasaki dealer.. i think that is very high but i didn't find it elsewhere.. So i was wondering how much Ducati wants for a new radiator..
