                      Raptor, like Luca told you before, it's impossible to use the pistons of the panigale R (also if you consider the 2015 configuration ). the displacement is bigger, obviously, for the 1299 and so the bore too. 116mm versus the 112mm of the 1199R.. Anyway what you said is very expensive, i think. so i suggest to abandon the idea of make an "R" model from your 1299S.. it's less expensive, simpler and easier to buy a complete exhaust system and retune the ECU. so i agree with Luca (infact i am Luca too!) ahahahah

                      PS if you want an aggressive bike or if you want some special parts on it, the 1199R is better that the 1299S, i think.. why you didn't buy simply the 1199R?

                        I wish I have ?29000gbp to buy 2015 1199R

                        I wanted to make 1299R for less price then a 1299S, but I think not to, for now.

                        Unless I can find much cheaper crashed damaged 1199R MY15 OR damaged crashed 1299S, then not make 1299R.

                        I know can not have 1199R pistons for 1299S, but plan was to get special race LIGHTER pistons made for 1285cc(1299) so can match to 1199R MY15/SL Lighter crank and Titanium rods.

                        Now I have to wait for price to drop ALOT to do my 1299R in 2016-2017, but need fix and sell my 1299S in 2016 first.

                        It arrive today and now need start spending money to fix to track bike.

                        Already need wires fixing and battery, then fix bent ohlins fork(x1), then buy 1199 OR 1299S race fairing and race bracket and ram air tube/pipe.
                        Also then race tyres, coolant, new oil, fit replacement radiators AND Finally fixed.

                              Insomma l'amico ha una scimmmia per sta R..per cui vuole trovare i pezzi racing a buon prezzo e fare della sua 1299s una R.Poi pero' dice che forse sistema la sua moto per poi venderla e nel 2016-2017 prendere sta benedetta R..piu' o meno ? questo.

                                Yes you can do it.. but i would buy a 1299s with termignoni full exhaust and i would be very satisfied with it.. well, i'm lying because i probably would buy the new R1M but this is another story! ahahah
